For the Essener Verkehrsbetriebe AG SKYTEC AG creates a web-based control system for the remote supervision and remote control of technical plants of the underground. In the context of this project to more than 20 underground stations the following devices are integrated in the monitoring:

• escalators
• elevators
• fire protection doors
• water pumps
• electric meters

Savings are:

• reduced personnel expenditure by central monitoring of the technical plants
• automation of maintenance runs of fire protection doors
• evaluation of electric meters for production of accounts
• early recognition of problems at technical plants
